Many people ask me if there is actually a difference between jam and jelly? Yes, there is. The difference between them comes in the form that the fruit takes. In jelly, the fruit comes in the form of fruit juice. In jam, the fruit comes in the form of fruit pulp or crushed fruit. We at Yumeve will mostly blend the whole fruit (of course we will not crush a whole banana or even mango but peel/skin it), so in our jam will be more or less everything what the fruit has to offer. Another difference is that by using the whole fruit and not just the juice jam will not be so stiff but has a soft, smooth texture which we actually prefer to a jelly.
